The siren. The drop. The rush.
Two notes, and everyone on the map knew. Whatever you were doing, you stopped. Flag on your back? Drop it. Two kills from a record? Forget it. The Gold Box was falling and you had seconds to be under it.
If you played, you can still hear it.
In Prime it still means everything
The Gold Box in Prime works the way you remember: the siren, the marker, the crowd of tanks racing to the same square of the map, and the one player who gets there first. The crystals matter. The bragging rights matter more.
Gold Box Hunter
Every Gold Box you catch counts. Prime keeps a Gold Box Hunter rating, weekly, monthly and all-time, so the best hunters are on a public board with their name on it. Catch the most in a week and you are on the podium for everyone to see.
Prime cases
Prime cases drop in game too. Open one and you get skins for your turrets and hulls, something the old game never had.
