We Need Helpers

Prime Tanki is growing fast, and we cannot be in every battle and every chat at once. We need players who keep the battles fair, the chat friendly, and help new players find their way. If you love this game and want to protect it, this is for you.

The roles

• Chat moderator: keeps the lobby and battle chat clean
• Battle moderator: watches for cheats, power leveling and bug abuse
• Events: hosts events and tournaments
• Consultant: answers players' questions in the game and on Discord
• Graphic designer: banners, news pictures and art
• Esports: runs tournaments as a fair referee
• Community manager: the voice of Prime Tanki in your language

Why Brigadier

• A helper can mute, kick and ban other players, so we want people who know the game inside out, its rules and its tricks
• Ranking is faster here than in old Tanki. Take our rank multipliers away and Brigadier takes about as much play as Warrant Officer 4 did back then: reachable, and it shows you have put real time in
• You also need a clean record, to be 18 or older, to be on our Discord and to have a few hours a week

What helpers get

• Their role's own paint and a unique icon next to their name
• Rewards in the game for their work, and a place in the team

Content Creators

Make videos, shorts or streams about Prime Tanki and get rewarded for it. There is no follower minimum: we look at the quality of your content. Our creator website is in continuous development, and new rewards keep coming.

• Exclusive paints, up to a paint made for you with your name on it

47 New Kits

The old kits everyone remembers are back, with the same contents and opening ranks you knew, and a kit is still the cheapest way to get everything in it at once.

• 39 classic kits, from Krakatoa to Eyjafjallajökull
• The starter kits are back too: Starter Kit, Starter Kit XL, Turret Kit, Hull Kit and Light Tank M1 (Freeze and Hornet)

Protection modules, from tomorrow

• Correction: we first wrote that kits already include protection modules. They do not yet, this starts tomorrow
• From tomorrow, every kit with a turret also includes that turret's protection module, at the same modification and with the kit's discount. And the first protection module you buy in the garage is 40% off

New paints

• Vortex, Fracture, Cherry, Pixel, Mars and Picasso are in the garage
• Some kits bring paints you could only get from containers before

Lobby Chat Translation

Our players speak a lot of languages, and I want everyone to be able to talk to everyone. Lobby chat now translates English, Russian and Ukrainian for you.

How it works

• A message in another language shows in yours, marked with »
• Tank words like hulls, turrets and gold box are translated the way players say them
• Short lines like hello and thanks are translated too
• Messages show up at once again; only a translation takes a moment
• Turn it off any time in Settings: Translate chat
• Battle, clan and private chat are never translated

Mutes

Anyone can lose their temper once, so a first mute is short. Players who keep insulting others get longer mutes every time, and players who calm down work their way back. And you always know why.

How long

• 1st mute: 5 minutes
• 2nd: 1 hour
• 3rd: 1 day
• 4th: 7 days
• 5th: 14 days
• 6th: 30 days
• 7th and after: 90 days

Cooling down

• Every 7 days without a mute, you go one step back down
• Muted again within 7 days of your last mute? You skip a step. Right after your first 5 minutes, the next one is still 1 hour

What you see

• A popup in your language tells you that you were muted and for how long
• Write while muted and the chat tells you why, how long is left and who muted you
• Your messages are removed from everyone's chat when you are muted
• A mute covers lobby, battle and clan chat

Vote

Reporting a player now takes a few clicks, and you tell us why.

How it works

• Press Tab, click a name, press Vote and pick a reason: Cheats/Hacking, Sabotage, Profanity, Power leveling or Promotion/Scam
• When a moderator comes to watch your battle, the players who reported get a hello in chat
• Typing /vote tells you where Vote is, and so does the loading screen tip

Improved Anti-Cheat

Improved anti-cheat system for battle mods. If you meet a cheater, open their player menu, press Vote and pick a reason.

Power Leveling

A rank should mean you earned it. Players who farmed experience and crystals with their own extra accounts, or with friends who never fought back, were caught.

What happened to them

• Their accounts were set back to how they were before they started farming
• They earn at x1 for a week, and their ratings profile shows a Power leveling tag

Capture the Flag

Defending your flag and helping a capture now pay off.

Changes

• Returning your flag gives 5 points
• Players who help a capture get an assist: a quarter of what the capture pays

XP/BP Rooms

XP/BP is for players who have the gear for it, so the rooms now ask for it.

Changes

• XP/BP, XP and BP rooms need Railgun and your hull at M2 or higher
• The rooms moved to XP/BP Elite (ranks 17 to 23) and XP/BP Legends (ranks 21 to 30)
• The 2v2 rooms are now for ranks 17 to 30

Battle Fund

The battle fund now counts every player's rank multiplier, so it shows the crystals the room will really share.

• Juggernaut rooms without supplies have no bonus boxes either

Balance Changes

Buffs

• Freeze +10% damage
• Firebird +10% damage
• Twins +5% damage
• Hammer +5% damage
• Repair Kit heals 20% faster and 20% more

Nerfs

• Ricochet -10% damage
• Gold Boxes fall less often outside the Halloween maps. The Halloween maps keep the boosted rate until 6 November

Disabled augments

• Helios for Ricochet, Adaptive Reload for Thunder and Rapid-fire mode for Shaft are disabled until further balancing. Your tank uses Standard meanwhile, and the augment stays in your garage

Bigger Clans

Clans were filling up fast, so they got bigger.

Changes

• A clan now holds 12 players (was 7)
• Links in clan descriptions open in your browser
• Clan lists show everyone's real rank
• Opening a friend's battle link no longer leaves the clan page on top of the battle list

Maps

Three Halloween maps got new spawn points and drop zones from our map team.

Changes

• Halloween Highland, Halloween Sandal and Halloween Silence: new spawn points and drop zones
• Polygon MM: small fixes
• Halloween Hills: the purple floor is fixed

Launcher

The launcher updated itself with security fixes for our anti-cheat detection. There is nothing to reinstall, and the download on our website is the new launcher too.

No More Random Kicks

Some of you were thrown out of battles on Halloween Silence and Halloween Highland for no reason. That was our fault, not yours: a bug in the game's physics. It is fixed, and that bug cannot kick anyone anymore.

Shots After Lag

When your connection hiccupped, the server could throw away shots you had really fired. Now it counts them.

Changes

• Ricochet, Twins, Smoky, Railgun and the other single-shot turrets keep the shots fired during a lag spike
• Isida, Freeze and Firebird keep their damage after a lag spike
• Vulcan players far from the server no longer lose hits

Missing Kits

If a bot had the same name as you, a kit you bought could fail to arrive. We found every player this happened to and gave them their items, and it cannot happen again.

Settings

Several settings did nothing or forgot your choice. A player report about one of them led us to the rest.

Fixed

• Inverse turn controls when going backwards remembers your choice
• Show FPS and PING works
• Show skybox applies when you join a battle
• Your own keys for supplies 1 to 5, view size and full screen work. Full screen is now F11 and view size = and - by default
• Restore defaults restores the real defaults
• Dust no longer stays on while its setting is hidden
• Typing + or - in chat no longer changes the view size

Other Fixes

• After being the Juggernaut, your tank no longer keeps the Juggernaut's weapon
• Battle settings that are off are greyed out again in the battle info
• Promo codes can be entered again, and the message names the item you got, like Smoky M3
• The Ultra Container description names the right top prize: 500,000 crystals
• The Medium Tank M3 kit gives the real Picasso paint
• The News window darkens the lobby behind it, and the News tab opens first while you have unread news
• Reserved a nickname before 16 October? Your full launch bonus arrived at your next login
• The garage shows the right damage numbers for the balance changes
• Many smaller fixes

• Ratings: a profile shows only the items the player still owns
• Terms, Privacy and EULA in Russian
